Class meets 5th period daily

NO Games, NO Music or Browsing on the Internet BEFORE or
during class.
Grades
Your grade is based on three areas: Lessons, Activities,
and Quizzes
Grade Weights: Lessons: 30%*, Activities: 40%*, Quizzes:
30%*
Grades are posted online at www.mygradebook.com and
login information is provided.
Lessons
Lessons are located online at www.learning.com (icon on
desktop).
You have a username and password to login to the
website.
Your lesson work is graded online and counts for (30%)
of your grade.
You may review past lessons to study for a quiz or
makeup missed lessons from home.
You may NOT do any lessons before they are assigned.
Activities
Activities are based on the current lesson.
Activities are the main portion (40%) of your grade!
Activities are to be completed in class.
It is very important that you follow ALL directions.
Quizzes
Quizzes (30%) are based on the information covered in
your lessons on Learning.com
Pay special attention to items cover during class
discussion the day before each quiz.
You will have one quiz for each unit.

Typing Instruction
The Typing Instructor Deluxe and Mavis Beacon Typing
instruction plans are built upon a succession of
lessons, practice exercises, and drills. By following
the plan the student will learn the foundations of
accurate typing, starting with the fundamentals and
graduating to more complex finger-to-key combinations.
Yearbook
9th - 12th Grades Yearbook is a year-long course that
focuses on the production of the school yearbook, The
Angelia. The course includes planning a theme, page
layout and design, copy and caption writing,
photography, and advertisement sales. Students learn
skills that enable them to use desktop publishing
software (Jostens Yeartech and Photoshop).
