This purpose of this policy is to
outline how Covenant Christian School handles the
personal information of students, parents, grandparents,
and/or guardians of students enrolled at CCS, and CCS
faculty and staff. Personal information is information that
distinguishes us from each other (such as name, address,
email address, phone numbers or occupations, and such
other information that may or may not otherwise be
publicly available).
CCS does not rent, sell, or share
personal information with non-CCS individuals or
organizations. Personal information is shared internally
only with those who have an identifiable need for the
information, who understand this policy, and then only
to further the mission and purpose of CCS and its
student body.
From time to time, area television
stations and other local media cover events at Covenant
School and Covenant itself video tapes promotional spots
for television and various printed publications in which
photographs taken at Covenant are used.
Parents/Guardians may opt to exclude their children from
being seen or heard in such settings by so indicating on
the CCS Permission
Form under the "Media Release" section.
CCS responds to subpoenas, court
orders, or other legal processes that we and/or our
legal representatives determine are legitimate and
properly executed by a court of law.
This policy does not apply to the
practices of other groups and associations that CCS
students and families may become involved with, even if
such involvement is through CCS, when such associations
are not under the direct authority or control of CCS or
lead by individuals that CCS does not employ or manage. |
