Covenant Christian School Elementary Program

The lower school curriculum lays a firm foundation in each discipline, with a focus on integrating all subject areas and equipping our students to be problem-solvers in today's environment.

LOWER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Kindergarten instruction is complemented and expanded upon each year as the child progresses. Accelerated learning is possible because of our small teacher/student ratio and our desire for students to be challenged to achieve to the extent of their ability. Various teaching methods are employed, utilizing both group work and individual instruction as appropriate. Aside from the basic subjects (math, language arts, science, and social studies), we have a comprehensive Bible curriculum and specialized personnel who supply art, computer, music, library and physical education. The students attend chapel each week.

Classes Offered: CCS offers elementary classes for grades K5 through grade 5. Class hours are:

K5: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Grade 1 - 6: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

LOWER SCHOOL ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
CCS requires a current Florida Department of Health Form from a physician or the Health Department before attending class. Proof of a physical examination within the past year is required for students entering K5. A copy of the student’s birth certificate is also required. Students transferring from within Florida may already have these forms in their permanent record.
