To our great sorrow, Coach Post passed away on Christmas Day, 2013, at the age of 90, before he was able to see the first annual Fun Run.  His funeral was held on Saturday, December 28th and the community turned out in large numbers to pay their respects to his family and witness to the impact Coach Post made on their lives.

The course winds through the pristine surroundings of St Andrews – one of the state of Florida’s top 3 most popular parks!  There are water/aid stations in various locations along the course.  Volunteers will be lining the route to cheer you on!  After the race you and your family can enjoy the beaches, nature trails or even the ferryboat to Shell Island all offered by St. Andrews state park!

Walkers and runners of all levels are welcome on this USATF certified course.

We are not enforcing any time limits on the race as it is open to both runners and walkers.  The 10K runners will begin at 7:00 a.m.  The 5K will begin shortly after and the 1 mile Fun Run will follow.  The loop course is flat, paved and winds through scenic St. Andrews State Park.  It is certified and officially sanctioned by the USA Track and Field Association.  This is a timed event and all participants will receive a race number and timing chip to get their finishing time once the course is complete
