We are grateful the Lord allows us to offer financial aid to the most deserving among our student body. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service to everyone who applies. The cost of running a private Christian School is tremendous. In fact tuition seldom covers all the cost involved. It is only through the generosity of private donors that most schools remain financially stable. This being said we must be discerning and fiscally responsible with the gifts and tuition God allows us to have. Please help us to be good stewards by following the policies explained below.
We have established a financial aid program that provides tuition assistance to the most deserving among our applicants. An application can be downloaded here or you can pick one up in the school office. Applications must be completed by the party paying the tuition. (This includes grandparents or family friends) The application must be completed and returned by July 15th prior to each school year. It is important that all applications be considered at the same time so we will not consider any applications turned in after this time. The Financial Aid Committee reviews all applications between July 15th and August 1st.
Beginning with the 2011-12 school year all families receiving tuition assistance will be required to submit a mid-year review in December. This is to ensure that those receiving the financial aid are still in need. All those applying for tuition assistance are required to pay according to the 12 payment option and are not eligible for the 4% pre-pay discount. A 50% discount is the highest the committee will award. The average discount is between 15 – 25%. Each case will be reviewed and all applicants will be contacted by August 1st of each year.
